Study Guru uses AIs to get answers for you. It remembers the conversation history even after you logged out and log back in. You should converse with it like a buddy, and it will pick up the context from your previous chat.

Study Guru goes beyond AIs' parametric knowledge or static memory. Study Guru gets you answers from many knowledge sources including internet, certain scientific and medical publications, and your personal knowledge bases (your textbooks, class notes, etc.) that you have added. Study Guru is designed to mitigate hallucinations and avoid irrelevant answer.
It is designed to give you right answer quickly for your study, homework, revisions, etc.

To add your own knowledge base (e.g., textbook, class notes, etc.), emails or any source you want Study Guru to use to answer your queries, Follow these steps in Upload tab:

1. Under the Files for your knowledge base, enter a Topic, choose a file or files under Documents.
2. Under Knowledge-base Topic Name, give a unique name (read the infield instructions carefully) to the knowledge base as you or Study Guru will refer to it by that name.
3. Under Knowledge-base Use Scenario, write a short usage scenario on what event Study Guru will access this knowledge base.
4. Then press Create New Knowledge Base >

If you want to add file to an existing knowledge base, follow the above steps, but in step 2, give the Knowledge-base Topic Name that you have already created. Edit the Knowledge-base Use Scenario to reflect the new capabilities or use scenario, then press Add to Existing Knowledge Base >

If you want Study Guru to get information from a URL, summarize a URL, etc. you may enter a valid URL address in A URL: field.

After you have uploaded files, go to StudyGuru tab, pick Study Buddy from the drop-down list on the bottom left of the screen, enter your query in Enter your message field, and press Submit at the bottom right of the screen.

Write a report, research paper, or an essay with ease. Provide an essay task document, a rubrics document, optionally a draft, and Essay Guru will write it for you. You can ask Essay Guru to add or remove info or change style etc. to get the desired essay. Please do not submit the essay without checking.

To add essay files, follow these steps in Upload tab:

1. Under Files for essay grading or writing, enter a Topic.
2. Choose an Essay-task document:.
3. Choose an Essay-rubrics document:.
4. Choose an Essay-draft document: (optional for Write an Essay).
5. Press Upload >

After you have uploaded files, go to StudyGuru tab, pick Write an Essay from the drop-down list on the bottom left of the screen, enter any additional instruction for the essay in Enter your message field, and press Submit at the bottom right of the screen.

Grade your written report according to a given rubric and an essay task. For Grade Guru to grade an essay, you must provide an essay-task document, a rubrics document, and a draft of your essay. AIs generally are designed to give encouragement to users. Therefore, do not be carried away by the praises; pay special attention to the recommendations. Meet these recommendations for better grade.

To add essay files for grading, the process is similar to uploading files for Write an Essay, except all files are required (steps 2 -4).

After you have uploaded files, go to StudyGuru tab, pick Grade My Essay from the drop-down list on the bottom left of the screen, enter any additional instructions in Enter your message field, and press Submit at the bottom right of the screen.

Chats are stored under a topic. Users can hide, unhide, or delete chats under a topic.
To hide chats, pick a topic from the dropdown list under Pick a Topic or create anew, then press Hide Chats.
Unhide Chats displays any chats that were hidden on a given topic.
Delete Chats deletes the chat history on a topic permanently.

To pick a topic for chat, select a topic from the dropdown list under Pick a Topic or create anew.
To create a new topic for chat, enter a new topic in New Topic field, and press Create.
A New topic will be created and will be added as selected or default value in the dropdown list under Pick a Topic or create anew.
